Ready to start a new career with training in Foot Health?
If yes, then look no further. Training to become a professional foot health, Podiatry Assistant or Nail Technician, (Pedicure scene or nail cutting) may be the best move you make ever. With an aging population in most western countries, the foot care industry is about to explode with the baby-boomers retirement and it's your best chance to climb aboard.
In the United Kingdom, there are three main training institutions offering courses to students Health foot willing to train health professionals of the foot (FHP).

All offer training up into two parts, a theoretical and practical part. With the theory that you learn in the comfort of your home or remote as it is called with a tutor dedicated to you to help you and guide you. The practical part is on one or two weeks in a training center equipped. These ongoing foot care to give the student the confidence to perform foot care, as the removal of corns and calluses and treatment of a variety of foot and nail conditions such as fungal infections and warts.
The cost of these courses may seem a bit too low initially, around a £ 2,000 depending on the number of weeks of practical training. But when you compare this to the amount you can win, it is more than worth it.
Once you have completed your course of care of feet, you will be qualified and authorized to practice before this organization and, in general they will provide your insurance coverage. However, you will not be able to use the title "chiropodist" or "podiatrist" as they are now legally protected titles.

Podiatry is the professional end of the foot health with invasive procedures such as ingrown toenail removal and onion with gait analysis to prescribe orthotics. courses on healthy feet for Podiatrists are normally full-time postgraduate degrees although part-time courses are available.
With an assistant Podiatry, you must complete 500 hours of supervised practice (NHS or private) in both oral and practical assessments.
Although at the lower end of the scale a good way in the industry of foot health is to train as a nail technician or pedicurist. They are among ten of a beautician course but can be done individually in some colleges. They aim to beautify the foot, many people find they need to cut their nails, and thus the income potential of a nail technician is not that different from a health practitioner of the foot.
Normally an FHP base their business on a practice of home visits. However, this has many more points with it as being your own boss, work and support this you love as well as keeping costs to a minimum.
